Allyson Felix, born November 18, 1985, was an American track and field athlete that represents the U.S. in dozens of athletic events, including the Olympics, World Championships, World Indoor Championships, and the Diamond League. She has 21 gold and six silver medals, and three bronze medals in her sporting career. Felix is a specialist in sprint, a game she got into while still in ninth grade. The sprinter is one of the most decorated female in the history of track and field the past and has also been an activist with a lot of causes in recent years. Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix was ordained as a minister through the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix was a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix had a keen interest in sports since the age of a child. The talent she displayed in sprinting began to be evident when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint.
